Project Philosophy

With more than twenty years' experience in various engineering disciplines and almost ten years' experience in social matters, community facilitation and local/regional government, the directors of Tirisano recognise the uniqueness of every project and therefore provide the technical and social services and advice tailored according to the client's needs and requirements.

The success of a project lies not only in the achievement of its original goals, but also in the continuance to do so throughout its lifetime. This necessitates follow-ups and evaluations to ensure proper maintenance.

The quality of a contractor's work has a decisive impact on the overall quality of a project. Where clients favour the appointment of emerging contractors, Tirisano not only performs the conventional tasks of supervision, but also actively becomes involved in the quality assurance programme empowering the contractor and addressing the client's needs.

Professional Indemnity Insurance

Although the South African Association of Consulting Engineers (SAACE) only requires a cover of R 2 million, Tirisano will arrange for a higher cover if required by a client.

Professional Fees

The statutory fees for the services of consulting engineers as contained in the latest Government Gazette normally applies. Depending on the nature of the project, fees can be negotiated to ensure an affordable and cost-effective service.

Disbursements

The hourly rates and costs for travel and other disbursements as scheduled by the SAACE normally apply.
